Councillor Westley submits a report that seeks Cabinet’s adoption of the Affordable Housing Strategy and Delivery Plan 2008 – 2013. Cabinet is recommended to adopt the Affordable Housing Strategy and Delivery Plan 2008 – 2013.
A minute extract from the meeting of the Overview and Scrutiny Management Board held on 5 November 2009, will be circulated as soon as it is available.

Councillor Westley submitted a report which sought the adoption of the Affordable Housing Strategy and Delivery Plan 2008 – 2013 which had now be the subject of wider stakeholder consultation. Councillor Westley noted that the aim was to deliver 992 new affordable homes and that the type of homes provided was as important as the number.
It was noted that the Overview and Scrutiny Management Board had considered the issue at its meeting on 5 November 2009 and had supported the report.
RESOLVED:
That the Affordable Housing Strategy and Delivery Plan 2008-2013 be adopted.
