Decision details

To implement decisions consequential to the monitoring the Capital Programme in 2019/20 Period 9.

1.    Approve the addition of £300k match-funding for Transforming Cities work programme, which will fund the current level of expenditure in relation to feasibility studies in 2019/20.

2.    Approve the release of £1,415k for fleet vehicle replacement from the policy provision created for that purpose.

3.    Approve the addition of £500k to property maintenance works, funding expenditure previously funded from revenue budgets for 2019/20.

Note:

Given the cancellation of the March meeting of Overview Select Committee (OSC) due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the attached report has not been considered by the Committee.  The decisions above are the minimum now required to progress normal business and the Chair of OSC has been consulted and supports them.

The Executive and Overview Select Committee receive a report on the forecast capital budget position regularly throughout the year (as well as an outturn report at the end of the year).  Recommendations arising from this are often included within the report.
