To publish the draft Capital Programme for 2022/23.

(1)       To publish draft capital programme proposals in advance of making firm proposals to the Council which meets on 23rd February 2022.

(2)       To advise scrutiny functions that comments on the draft proposals may be made on or before the 4th February 2022.

Note:  This is a draft recommendation to the Council under Rule 1.3 of the budget and policy framework procedure rules and the provisions of the Call-in procedure does not, therefore, apply.

Under the constitution, the full Council is responsible for approving the capital programme.  The Council will consider the capital programme at its meeting on 23 February 2022.

The City Mayor is responsible for proposing a programme to the Council. In advance of making firm proposals, the constitution requires the preparation of a draft proposal which can be considered by the scrutiny function.

The draft proposal is contained in a draft Council report.
