Purpose:

To deliver a new access walkway, terrace and adjacent path improvements at Jewry Wall/Vaughan College, and to procure a co-ordinated design proposal for the rest of the complex.  The value is approximately £1.15 million.

Decision:

To approve the following from resources set aside for the Economic Action Plan and to add the scheme to the capital programme:

 

           Deliver a new walkway access, terrace and improvements to paths running around the edge of the site at an estimated cost of £950k

 

           Procure a co-ordinated design proposal for the refurbishment of the rest of the complex at an estimated cost of £193k.

To deliver a new walkway access, terrace and adjacent path improvements at Jewry Wall / Vaughan College and to procure a co-ordinated design proposal for the refurbishment of the rest of the complex.

Alternative options:

A total of 13 options were investigated at feasibility stage to identify the best solution as proposed.
