Decision details

That funds are released from school capital funds to undertake a planned programme of improvement works across local authority schools and to other children’s services buildings.

1)            That the programme for £4.96m of works described in this report is approved, in order to address the next series of defined high priority areas of capital improvement across the Children’s Services school portfolio, based on current stock condition data and priority of need.

2)            That this be funded by the £3.69m balance of the existing policy provision allocated for school maintenance and £1.27m from the BSF Landlord Lifecycle Fund

The works are required to enable the Council to continue to maintain its property assets and fulfil its statutory requirements.
