Purpose:

To expand the Leicester Partnership School placements, to accommodate a further 40 pupils from 100 to 140 pupils, and to permit the Leicester Partnership School to use 70 Knighton Lane as a satellite site for Key Stage 4 pupils. 

 

Decision:

The implementation of the expansion proposal be approved, namely;

that Leicester Partnership School will enlarge its capacity from its current capacity of 100 to 140 pupils with effect from 1 September 2021. This will be achieved by permitting the Leicester Partnership for Schools to use 70 Knighton Lane as a satellite site for Key Stage 4 pupils.

Reasons for the decision:

On the basis that there have been no representations to the notice to implement the proposals, the commentary set out in the report, and procedure considerations.

Alternative options:

1 - Reject the implementation of the proposals;

2 - Approve the implementation of the proposals;

3 - Approve the proposals with a revision (e.g. the implementation date); or

4 - Approve the proposals subject to them meeting a specific condition.
