Call-In was considered by the Council at its meeting on 16 January
2025 where it was supported. The
original decision taken on 02 January 2025 is, therefore, deemed to
be revived in its entirety in accordance with Rule 12 (h) of Part
4D of the Council’s Constitution.

Approve the following
additions:

£901k for Haymarket Theatre Works– UKSPF, funded by
government grant.
o
£750k for Jewry Wall Museum Improvements, £100k funded
by UKSPF Grant and £650k being funded by capital receipts
o
£251k for De Montfort Hall Works – UKSPF, funded by
government grant.
o
£204k for Property and Operational Estate Capital
Maintenance, funded by reserves
o £147k
for Connecting Leicester, funded by S106
Approve the following transfer:
o
£1,300k from Pioneer Park – Levelling Up to Pilot House
– Levelling Up
Reasons for the decision:
The Executive and
Overview Select Committee receive a report on the forecast capital
budget position regularly throughout the year (as well as an
outturn report at the end of the year). Recommendations arising
from this are often included within the report.
