To implement the proposals arising from the Review of the Council funded, and or delivered Festivals and Events programme, as detailed in part 1 of the report.

The review of the festivals and Events programme was underpinned by the need for the Council to demonstrate value for money in the activities and services it support and/or provides to ensure that public funds are used for the greatest benefit and meet the changing needs of the city’s communities.

A range of options (as detailed in the report) and proposals arising from the information and data gathering stages were considered and consulted on.
