Councillor Patel submits a report that details the recommended taxbase for the financial year 2010/2011. The Council is required to set a taxbase by 31 January 2010 for the purpose of setting its Council Tax. Cabinet is recommended to endorse a taxbase for 2010/2011 of 78,799 properties expressed as the equivalent number of “Band D” properties.

Councillor Patel submitted a report that detailed the recommended taxbase for the financial year 2010/2011. He explained that the tax base was in effect, the number of properties in the City on which council tax was charged.
RESOLVED:
that Cabinet endorses a taxbase for 2010/2011 of 78,799 properties expressed as the equivalent number of “Band D” properties.
