Internal alterations to a Grade II Listed Building

 

The panel raised no objections to the proposed works and welcomed the commitment of those involved to bring the building back into a more productive use. They supported the use of glazing to ensure the new classroom element would still be read as a void and the revised location for the lift. The panel asked various questions regarding the detail of the design, such as retaining/matching materials, the methodology for cleaning/repairing building elements and the rationale for replacing the roof.
