50.	APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE Minutes: There were no apologies for absence.
51.	DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST The first main item on theagenda is Declarations of Interest where Councillors have to say if there is anything on the agenda they have a personal interest in. For example if a meeting was due to discuss a budget application put forward by a community group and one of the Councillors was a member of that group, they would not be able to take part in the decision on that budget application. Councillors are asked to declare any interest they may have in the business on the agenda, and/or indicate that Section 106 of the Local Government Finance Act 1992 applies to them. Minutes: There were no declarations of interest.
52.	BUDGET Councillors are reminded that they will need to declare any interest they may have in budget applications, and/or indicate that Section 106 of the Local Government Finance Act 1992 applies to them. There will be an update on the Community Meeting budget. The following budget application has been received: Applicant:Braunstone Park and Rowley Fields Ward Councillors Amount: £2,531 Proposal:Launch event of the Health Strategy in Braunstone Park and Rowley Fields Summary: This application is to help fund the launch event of the Health Strategy and to publicise the event to target people to attend. The day of the event will be in two phases. The first half will be dedicated to professionals e.g Sure Start, NHS, Leicester City Council. The second half of the day will be for members of the public with information about the Health Strategy in the ward and a health fair for members of the public. The Health Strategy for the area will be developed with the assistance of Health and Community workers in the area alongside Ward Councillors. Minutes: There was a discussion on the Community Meeting budget. The following applications were submitted for consideration. · Launch event of the Health Strategy in Braunstone Park and Rowley Fields. Braunstone Park and Rowley Fields Ward Councillors, - £2,500. It was explained that the application was to help fund the launch event of the Health Strategy for the Braunstone Park and Rowley Fields Ward. RESOLVED: that the application be supported and £2,500 be allocated subject to final approval from the relevant Cabinet Lead.
53.	DATES OF FUTURE MEETINGS 2012/13 Members are asked to agree the date for the main, debrief and agenda meetings for 2012/13. A draft list of dates will be presented at the meeting. Minutes: It was agreed that the dates for future meetings would be emailed to the Members who would confirm whether they were ok.
54.	ANY OTHER BUSINESS Minutes: There were no items of urgent business.
55.	CLOSE OF MEETING Minutes: The meeting closed at 12:40pm.
