The Ward Councillors will provide an update on issues not covered elsewhere on the agenda and will include:-

FAIRCHILD DEVELOPMENTS

Lindsay Turner, Fairchild Developments will outline the development proposals for land at Evesham Road and Evelyn Drive.

NHS 111

A representative from the Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group has been invited to give a brief presentation on the new ‘NHS 111 Service’.  NHS 111 has replaced the NHS Direct telephone service.

CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU

Helen Childs will outline Citizens Advice Bureau links with ‘Big Difference’.

CITY WARDEN

The City Warden will give an update on issues in the Ward.

POLICE ISSUES UPDATE

Officers from Leicestershire Police will be at the meeting to provide an update on police issues in the Ward.

WARD COMMUNITY BUDGET

Councillors are reminded that under the Council’s Code of Conduct they should declare any interest they may have in budget applications

 

 

The following applications have been received and will be considered at the meeting:-

 

1.    (1698)   Manor House – Stay & Play;

To replace old and unsafe play equipment for babies, toddlers and children attending the daily ‘stay and play’ sessions.Along with purchasing new arts and craft materials.

£500.

 

2.    (1699)   Leicester Masaya Link Group – Festive Forrest Fun Day;

Organise and facilitate seasonal activities in local outdoor spaces.

£1100.

 

3.    (1700)   Anita Robinson – World War 2 Information Board;

To purchase an additional World War 2 information board, which will  be situated outside the Stable Block Museum, to further extend  WW2 memorial Garden / projects.

£465.

 

The Ward Community Officer will present the applications and provide a update on the Ward Community Budget.
