Please Note: This decision has been Called-In under Rule 12 of Part 4D of the Council’s Constitution and no further legally binding action will be taken on this decision until the Call-In has been addressed.
To approve:
a. the addition of £5.2m to the 2026/27 capital programme for the St Margarets junction scheme.
b. the release of £3m currently held in the Match Funding policy provision to part-finance the scheme alongside £2.2m from the Government’s Levelling Up fund.
c. Delegation of authority to the Director of Planning, Development and Transportation and Director of Finance to finalise grant funding details with the DfT to secure the Levelling Up fund award.
