Adopt the changes to the Housing Allocations
Policy as set out in the attached report. In summary these are:
- To increase the Leicester City
Requirement to give more emphasis to those with a strong connection
to the City
- To exclude those who own their own
homes except in extenuating circumstances.
- To exclude those households who have
the financial resources to secure alternative accommodation
- To give priority to those households
who are in work or training schemes and need to move closer to
their job.
