We, the undersigned, call on Leicester City Council to stop its
plans to cut or close our much-loved libraries and community
centres. These local facilities are essential to the residents who
rely on them for education, social connection, support, and
community activities. We ask the Council to:
• Drop any plans to close or reduce services at
Leicester’s libraries and community centres
• Invest in these facilities and keep them accessible to all
residents
• Work with local communities to find better ways to protect
and improve these services
